Langcliffe Village Show secretary Ian Johnson is once again sharpening his pencil ready to judge entries.
The annual event is only 16 days away and preparations are being made for a host of entries, ranging from vegetables, fruit and flowers being grown to the handicrafts being finished ready for the big day.
And Ian would like as many entries as possible to make the show the best yet.
He said: “Many people will have things they have already made that they could enter into one of the classes.
"Look at the schedule and see if you have something you can enter. The show is an ‘open’ one and anyone can enter. Paper copies are at the back of church and virtual ones are online. There are links on the show’s Facebook page and on the langcliffeonline.net village website."
The show takes place on August 19 and is open to the public at 1.30pm. Exhibits are displayed in the Village Institute and the church.
