LIFE is a Cabaret for Louise Redknapp as images of her as showgirl Sally Bowles in this production have now been released.

Sporting a black bob, top hat and tassels, Louise is getting ready to play the award-winning show’s leading lady at Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday October 24 to Saturday October 28 2017, alongside internationally renowned singer/songwriter, Will Young, who reprises his Olivier Award-nominated role as the enigmatic Emcee.

Ever since winning the inaugural series of Pop Idol in 2002, Will Young has been one of the UK’s most popular and successful music artists and holds the record for the fastest selling debut single in British chart history.

Louise Redknapp first rose to fame as a member of 90s girl group Eternal, before leaving to carve out a successful solo career.

More recently, she showed off her versatility by wowing the nation with her dancing skills, finishing runner-up in the 2016 series of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Set in 1930s Berlin, against the backdrop of the seedy Kit Kat Klub, Cabaret tells the tale of young American writer Cliff Bradshaw and his relationship with 32-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles.

Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre, including ‘Money Makes The World Go Round’, ‘Two Ladies’ ‘Maybe This Time’ and of course the unforgettable ‘Cabaret’ itself.

Since its Broadway premiere in 1966 and the famous movie version with Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey, the show has won a staggering number of stage and screen awards including eight Oscars, seven BAFTAs and 13 Tonys.

Directed by National Theatre Artistic Director Rufus Norris and choreographed by Olivier Award winner Javier de Frutos, the production has enjoyed two smash hit West End runs.
