A KEIGHLEY estate agents has celebrated its second year of trading.

Staff at Holroyds, in North Street, marked the occasion at their premises earlier this month. (August)

Managing director Chris Holroyd said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with how the towns of Keighley and Bingley have welcomed our business.

“We started with just two members of staff but now have a team of 16 and offer sales, lettings and financial services between our Keighley and Bingley offices.

“For our second birthday we ran a competition on Facebook where people had to like and share the post on our page and guess how many keyrings were in our pot. The winner guessed 47 and won £100.”

Holroyds has won four national awards, including the Sunday Times best newcomer award in 2016.

It has given more than £5,000 to Keighley district charities and sports clubs, is a sponsor of Keighley Cougars and also supports Steeton FC.

Mr Holroyd said the business plans to double its charity work over the next two years.
