COUNCILLORS in Oxenhope were given the good news that funding has been made available for road safety measures at a dangerous bend in the village.
Speaking at the latest meeting of Oxenhope Parish Council, Worth Valley ward councillor Rebecca Poulsen said district council money for measures for Hebden Bridge Road, near Oxenhope Primary School, has been approved.
She explained that proposals would be drawn up on what can be done to make this stretch of road safer, adding that these proposals would then go out for consultation.
