A CHARITY football match featuring some of Bradford City’s most famous faces is being held next month in aid of Silsden appeal So, Sally Can Wait.
The game, between a Bradford City Legends side and Sally’s All Stars, is being held at Dennyfield, home of Thackley AFC in Ainsbury Avenue, at 2pm on Sunday, September 10.
Former player and manager Paul Jewell will coach the side, with Wayne Jacobs, Peter Beagrie and captain Gary Jones - who led out the Bantams at Wembley in the League Cup final in 2013 - all confirmed to be playing for City in the game.
There will also be live music at the event from band The Elements.
Entry will be £5 for adults and £2 concessions, with proceeds going to the charity.
So, Sally Can Wait was set up by Silsden’s Liam Major in memory of his wife Sally, who died from bowel cancer on April 8 this year.
