A MEMORIAL fun day in memory of a Keighley teenager who died of cancer when he was just 17 will be held at Crossflatts Cricket Club next month.
The event on September 16 will raise cash for the cancer charity for young people CLIC Sargent, in memory of Callum Mynott who died in October 2015.
The venue for the fun day is also the home of Keighley Albion Rugby Club, which Callum had played for.
Family members of Callum are organising the day, which will run from 12.30pm.
Entertainment will include a bouncy castle, face painting, a mini assault course, tug of war, tombola, music and a raffle. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Sophie Beth Ainsworth, Callum's cousin and one of the relatives arranging the afternoon, said she would welcome donations of prizes which can be raffled off at the event.
People willing to supply prizes can contact either her or Callum's stepmother Donna Mynott on Facebook.
Callum, who was known as CJ, had lived in Stockbridge. He was a former Beckfoot School pupil, a student at Craven College and a keen sportsman.
