A COWLING group has created baby garments to help new families in Uganda.
Knit and Natter members produced a range of items, from mittens to hats.
Emily Hill, founder of Mobilise a Midwife, visited the group to talk about the charity's work and collect the goods.
Mobilise a Midwife supports traditional midwives and new mums in North Uganda, where resources and infrastructure are limited.
The organisation raised funds to supply each midwife in the area of Atiak with a bicycle, so they could provide their care and attend the Birth House for regular support and training.
Supplies also go to the Birth House to give extra comforts to mums and their babies.
