Albion Street are playing the Groovy Happening in Haworth
ORGANISERS of a popular monthly music night in Haworth are celebrating raising more than £25,000 for Manorlands.
The Groovy Happening raised £25,200 for the Oxenhope hospice with its first 75 events in Haworth and Keighley.
The volunteer organisers promise another brilliant night of music and dancing with wonderful bands during the 76th Happening on Saturday, September 2.
The Parkside Club in Butt Lane will host performances by Albion Street, who are returning to the Groovy after having the room buzzing last April.
Also performing will be Lost Twenties, Reuben Wilkinson and Soundtrack. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £3 on the door.
