Bradford Sunday Alliance Championship: Hand & Shuttle 2 Crossflatts Village 2

FLATTS let a 2-1 half-time lead slip as Hand & Shuttle fought back to earn an 86th-minute equaliser.

The visitors' first-half goals came from Adam Rooney and Stephen Schofield, with George Duncan and Connor Hey on target for the hosts.

Flatts now sit in fifth place in the league with four points from two games.

Player-manager Kevin Gill was disappointed with the result and performance.

He said: "We should have put the game to bed early but we squandered chance after chance.

"We made things difficult for ourselves and we could have controlled the game by putting our chances away.

"We need to show more heart and desire when games go scrappy or the opposition gets on top of us. "We were quiet. We need to be big and stronger in defence and show more composure in front of goal."

Flatts travel to Salts Sunday FC hoping to do the double over them, having beaten them 4-1 at home in their first game of the season.
