BUDDING young designers are being sought for a challenge week in Keighley.

Top global medical design and manufacturing company DePuy Synthes is staging the event, at the college's Fab Lab.

It is looking for young people aged 14 to 18 who will work alongside engineering professionals to create potentially life-changing prototypes.

Participants will learn how to use computer-aided design and manufacturing software.

"This is a fabulous opportunity for young people to work with top engineers from a world-leading Yorkshire-based company," said Chris Stott, head of business engagement at Keighley College.

The week runs from October 23.

Lunch will be provided each day.

Places are limited to 12, so early booking is essential.
