GUISELEY have made two signings on the eve of tonight's National League home game with Macclesfield Town and a third is imminent.

Paul Cox's injury hit squad will be boosted by the arrival of Oxford City striker Mike Fondop and young Peterborough left-back Lewis Freestone.

Fondop, an imposing 6ft 3ins Cameroonian, signed for Oxford in August 2016 after playing for Billericay Town and Whitehawk.

The left-footed 23-year-old player joins Guiseley on a permanent deal.

Freestone, 17, is a rising talent in the Peterborough set up and has four League One games to his credit.

The left-back joins Guiseley on loan after making progress through the Posh Academy.

He burst onto the first team scene in pre-season 2016. He had a number of loan spells in 2016-17 to increase his experience including spells at Cambridge City and St Albans City.

He signed a three-year professional contract with Peterborough in July 2016.
