FOUR fire engines were called out to tackle a blaze at a Keighley manufacturing firm last night.
Appliances from Keighley, Bingley, Silsden and Illingworth attended the incident at Keighley Laboratories in Croft House Works, South Street at 9.28pm.
One foam branch and one breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the flames.
Managing director Debbie Mellor said staff had called the Fire Service after the surface of oil in a quenching tank had caught fire.
She said: “There was no damage. It had no effect whatsoever on our business, we we're working today.”
The firm is a specialist in the analysis, testing and heat treatment of metals.
