A KEIGHLEY law firm has appointed its newest solicitor to provide commercial advice to businesses in the district.

Paul Stock, who has 40 years of legal experience, has joined Platinum Partnership Solicitors, which has its Keighley base in Devonshire Street.

Senior partner Nasreen Karim said: "Paul specialises in company and commercial law, and he'll be a real asset to our firm because of the type of work he does."

She added that the business's base, in the property once occupied by Burr Sugden Solicitors, still has rooms available for start-up companies seeking to enter an office environment.

She said: "We've had three new tenants move in within the last few weeks, which shows the demand is there.

"These office spaces are perfect for people wanting to leave the home environment and start working from an office but who don't want to be tied into a long lease with big overheads.

"And as the bills are all-inclusive they give start-ups financial certainty."

One of the companies to have moved into the business hub is Talent Squared, run by Abid Hussain.

His firm is a specialist international sales recruiter, that helps place candidates with British Export and international companies.

Nasreen said Mr Hussain particularly appreciated the fact that unlike other local properties, the hub offers offices which can be occupied and used almost immediately.

Firms interested in taking advantage of the business hub should e-mail nasreen@ppsolicitors.com for details.
