THE AIRE and Worth Valley Wanderers have released full details of their programme of autumn walks in the Keighley area.

The new group aims to take people on explorations of hidden gems of the Aire and Worth valleys.

The walks will be held on Thursdays from 1.30pm and will be between three to five miles.

There are aimed at people for people who have reasonably good mobility, and some walks will include hill climbing and uneven surfaces. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

The first walk will be this Thursday October 19, starting by the canal road bridge on Bar Lane, Riddlesden, to walk three miles to East Morton and back.

The walks are organised jointly by Community Action Bradford and District, Keighley Big Local, Champions Show the Way, and walking for Health.

Email muppett@cabad.org.uk for further details of the walks and how to join in.

He said: “Most of the walks will be circular, but some will be linear, so a bus pass or bus fare will be needed on these walks.
