A TEENAGE musician from Sutton will launch his debut single at a gig in Skipton on Friday October 20.

Callum Spencer, 18, is releasing The Fence, which he wrote himself and recorded at Jam On Top Studios in Keighley.

The Fence is available to download from iTunes and Spotify but hard copies will be available at the pre-entry gig, which is at the Cock and Bottle from 9pm.

Callum, an acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter, left school last summer and decided not go to university so he could pursue a career as a musician.

He said: “I have been gigging in bars, weddings and private events for the past three years and have recently returned from playing on a ship around Europe.”
