A 26-YEAR-OLD man from Keighley has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in the town.
The arrest was made last night by officers investigating an attack on a woman at Postman's Walk.
Police were called to the footpath, which links Oakworth Road and West Lane, at 11.48pm on Friday.
The path was cordoned off for much of Saturday as forensic teams examined the scene.
The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.
Detectives said inquiries were continuing and an appeal has been issued for witnesses.
The arrested man remains in police custody.
