POLICE have closed a main road at Cross Roads for a short period following a car crash this morning.

Paramedics were called after a silver Nissan Micra and a grey Renault Clio were involved in a collision in the junction of Haworth Road, Haworth Road and Ruth Street.

It is understood that the occupant of one of vehicles was treated for neck pain.

Emergency services were called at 8.16am.

A police spokesman said officers decided to close the road, at the junction of Haworth Road and the A629 Halifax Road, for traffic control reasons while a recovery vehicle took away the Clio.

The Keighley Bus Company this morning tweeted that the incident was causing delays to Brontebus B1, B2 and B3.
