REPAIRS to its heating system have forced a Keighley school to announce it will not be open tomorrow or Friday. (Nov 9 and 10)
Holy Family Catholic School has blamed the closure on "unforeseen emergency circumstances".
A letter from the school's head teacher Martin Hings, posted on Twitter earlier this afternoon, states: "The water supply has to be drained from the school in order for emergency repairs to be made to the heating system.
"For health and safety reasons we are unable to open the school without a running water supply.
"This decision has not been taken lightly. The health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff are paramount and we apologise for any inconvenience this decision will cause."
