POLICE smashed a window at a Keighley house to raid a cannabis farm on Monday.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, tweeted their success in arresting a man after finding cannabis growing upstairs.

Sgt Pete Softley wrote: “Not answering the door? Okay, window it is. One male arrested after spot of hide and seek. Not happy my bulled boots now look like volcanic ash -- damn lofts!"

Sgt Softley’s boss, Inspector Khalid Khan, tweeted congratulations to his team for the “fantastic” result.

Also on Monday, Inspector Khan tweeted a “further outstanding find” after his officers raided a house in Devonshire Street.
Police revealed that 120 cannabis plants had been recovered and one man was in the cells, adding the hashtag #notourkindofgardening.
