UPDATES on a care trust's community work will be given at a meeting next week.

The public is invited to attend the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust monthly board meeting.

There will also be a first-hand account from a mum whose family has been supported by the trust's mental health teams.

Her feedback has been used to help improve the organisation's single-point-of-access telephone service.

Debra Gilderdale, director of operations and nursing, said: "It's wonderful when people using our services choose to become involved in our work and help us shape provision with their feedback.

"We're really pleased to share this success story as it highlights the hard work that is taking place across the trust to involve our service users, patients and carers in developing how we deliver care."

The trust provides mental health, community and learning disability services across the district.

Its facilities include the Centre for Mental Health, at Airedale Hospital in Steeton.

Next Thursday's (Nov 30) meeting is at New Mill, Saltaire, from 1.30pm to 4pm.
