WARNING signs cracking down on dog fouling have been erected at Braithwaite hotspots.
"We're watching you!" is the message as moves are stepped-up to stamp out the problem.
And the public is being urged to 'shop' anyone seen failing to clean-up after their pooch.
The signs have been jointly funded by Keighley Town Council and the area co-ordinator's office.
Town councillor John Kirby, whose ward includes Braithwaite, says dog fouling is an issue across Keighley.
"I've had one or two people in my ward approach me but the problem certainly isn't restricted to this particular area," he said.
"There are many responsible dog owners, but we still have people who allow their dogs to do their business and then simply walk on.
"All we ask is that dog walkers take a bag out with them to pick-up the mess, and have a thought for other people who face stepping in it or having to go out into the road to avoid it."
Cllr Kirby said signs could also be erected in other hotspot areas around Keighley, and he urges anyone interested to e-mail him on cllr.kirby@keighley.gov.uk.
"I will work closely with my colleagues in other town council wards to see what could be done," he added.
Anyone who fails to clean-up after their dog faces an £80 fixed penalty ticket.
Offenders can be reported to Bradford Council at bradford.gov.uk or by calling 01274 431000.
