BRONTË Brownies have risen to the challenge during an annual competition.

The 1st Haworth Brownie pack won the town’s annual Brownie Challenge recently when it was held at the Salvation Army in Keighley.

Seven teams took part in challenges that included a quiz and a memory activity.

The girls were also given a bag of Lego to design and build whatever they wanted.

The teams consisted of up to six girls from each Brownie pack.

Division Commissioner Kay Bolton said: “All the girls had fun and an enjoyable afternoon and they all tried their best.

“Thanks go to Keighley Trefoil Guild who set the challenges and ran the event, and Friends of Guiding who provided refreshments.”
