PARKSIDE School students have again donated food to help needy families across the area at Christmas.
The Cullingworth school every year organises a collection for the local food bank run by the Salvation Army.
Staff member Phillip Logan again organised the food drive with the Sixth Form Student Council, and was joined by students in taking 20 boxes full of food to the Salvation Army.
He said: “The Salvation Army told us that this Christmas there are 300 children in the area whose families struggle to put food on the table, so every donation really does help.
“Big thanks to all staff, students and parents who contributed to our Christmas food drive.”
