A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from burns this afternoon after an aerosol can exploded at a seventh-floor flat in Keighley.
The woman, who is in her early 20s, sustained slight burns to her face and lower arms.
Firefighters – called to the incident, in Parkwood Rise, at 3.20pm – administered first aid at the scene.
A neighbour then took the woman to hospital.
"She wasn't seriously hurt and there was no damage to the flat," said Keighley Fire Station crew commander, Neil Andrews-Parry.
"The cause of the explosion isn't known."
Crews from Keighley and Bingley fire stations attended.
