POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a Keighley crash which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The 49-year-old man was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary after the accident, which happened shortly before 2pm on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police said today his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and his condition is described as stable.
The cyclist was riding along Halifax Road at Ingrow when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa, close to the junction with Apple Street.
Investigations by the police Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the accident – or saw either vehicle travelling along Halifax Road – is asked to contact it on 101, quoting log 786 of 31 December.
