KEIGHLEY band Vampire Death has been booked to support Michale Graves at Trash in Bradford.

Michale, former frontman for American horror /punk band The Misfits, can be seen at the venue on February 3 as part of his UK tour.

Other support acts for the night include Shane Pain, Damage 66 and So Long Until The Seance.

Vampire Death describe themselves as an “unholy trio of the most rockin’ dooms”, playing the genre of loud doom/punk rock since forming in 2016.

Featuring members of popular Keighley band Arkham Witch, Vampire Death is made up of – we kid you not – Moshferatu on vocals and guitar, Countess Bashery on drums and Klankenstein on bass.

Vampire Death, according to their publicity blurb, are “rising from the grave to rock the undead”.

Misfits are often regarded as starting the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery.

Founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, the Misfits disbanded in 1983, but their music later became influential to punk rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock.
