BY George!
A Cullingworth hotel has presented £2,179 to Manorlands.
The George Hotel raised most of the cash through a Christmas fair, which included stalls and a wreath-making workshop.
There was also a raffle of a luxury hamper, and at Hallowe'en, face painting.
Amy Anderson, who helped organise the fair with colleague Zoe Rudyk, said: "The atmosphere on the night was great and the pub was so busy.
"I'd like to thank all the stallholders, those who donated raffle prizes and everyone who came along.
"We're really pleased with how it went and intend doing it again this year!"
Hayley Ibbotson, a senior fundraiser at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, thanked everybody involved.
She added: "This is a fantastic amount to receive and we're really grateful to the team at the George for all its continued support, not only at Christmas but throughout the year.
"The funds donated mean the world to us. They will allow us to give our specialist care to those patients and their families locally who need our support.
"We rely on the backing of the local community to be able to continue providing this care into the future and are always so appreciative of anyone who raises funds to help us."
