A KEIGHLEY attraction will feature in a "gritty" thriller film due to be released next month. (February)

A scene from Lies We Tell, the cast of which includes big names such as Oscar-nominated Harvey Keitel and Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne, were shot on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.

The film will be on general release from February 2.

Its plot features billionaire boss Demi, who dies, leaving his chauffeur Donald with one final job – to wipe out any evidence of Demi's relationship with his mistress, Amber.

But Donald's task soon unravels when Amber's life is threatened and he finds himself her reluctant guardian, drawn into a dangerous urban underworld.

Other parts of the certificate 15 film, which is being distributed by Bradford International Film Associates, were also shot in Ilkley and in Bradford, using local extras.

The cast also features Mark Addy, whose credits include Game of Thrones and The Full Monty, Nicholas Farrell (Chariots of Fire) and Gina McKee (Our Friends in the North).
