KEIGHLEY Film Club has announced its programme for the winter and spring at the town’s Picture House.
The films will all be screened on the third Sunday of each month at 6pm and follow last weekend’s 2018 opener The Party at the North Street cinema.
Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool, certificate 15, will be screened on February 18 and depicts a romance between a young actor and a Hollywood leading lady.
In Between (15), to be screened on March, 18, portrays how three Palestinian women living in an apartment in Tel Aviv try to find a balance between traditional culture and modern culture.
April 15 sees Breathe (12a), the inspiring true love story of Diana and Robin Cavendish, an adventurous couple who refuse to give up in the face of a devastating disease.
Keighley Film Club spokesman Alan Watkinson said non-members were very welcome to the screenings.
He added: “You may be interested to know that membership entitles you to £1 reduction from all screenings at the Picture House including the Film Club’s under-60s.
“Over-60s have a reduced membership fee to compensate for the normal concessions. Carers with a current CEA card get free admission when bringing their cared person with them.”
Anyone wishing to be on the Film Club’s email list should call 01535 211698. People on the list are regularly invited to choose films for the future programme.
