PEOPLE who were married at a church in Cowling have been invited to lend photos of their big day to organisers of a wedding celebration weekend.
Holy Trinity Church is arranging the event and is keen to hear from people who were married at this building.
The celebration weekend will take place from May 11 to May 13, and will include a display of wedding dresses throughout the ages, and wedding memorabilia from brides representing decades from the 1940s to the present.
Organisers also want to mount a display of photos from as many weddings held at the church as possible.
Reverend Helen Collings, vicar of Sutton with Cowling & Lothersdale, said: “We’d love to hear from anyone married in the church, whether that was recently or decades ago.
"We promise to take care of any photos lent for the occasion. It would be fantastic if we could find the couple who were married here longest ago.”
