KEIGHLEY mayor Councillor Mohammed Nazam was the guest speaker at a meeting of the town’s Rotary club.
He talked about his desire to help make Keighley a place that is attractive to visitors and one which residents could be proud of.
A question and answer session followed.
Topics raised included the former college site in North Street, which members said they would like to see remain a green space.
Traffic, the town’s relationship with Bradford and public involvement in policy matters were also discussed.
MP John Grogan has accepted an invitation to be an honorary member of the club.
