A MAN has been arrested following an attack in Keighley which left one person seriously hurt.
West Yorkshire Police today (March 13) said a 28-year-old Keighley man had been detained on suspicion of wounding with intent, and is currently in custody.
His arrest relates to an incident early last Thursday morning, (March 8) in which a man in his 40s was taken to a hospital with a serious arm injury.
The man, who was also treated for injuries to his leg and back, was assaulted in the Selborne Grove area at about 2.30am last Thursday.
Police say a collision where a silver Hyundai Accent struck a wall in Oakworth Road at around the same time is also being linked to the assault, which is being treated as a "targeted attack".
Anyone with information which may assist the investigation should contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13180110693.
Information can also be reported anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
