EASTER activities for children will be on offer at libraries across the district including Keighley.

Staff will offer free activities and crafts as well as tell Easter-themed stories throughout the school holidays.

Keighley library, in North Street, will host a telling of The Pig’s Knickers, accompanied by Easter character basket craft, on April 4 at 11am.

There will be a Child’s Play Family Workshop on April 12 at Keighley library from 1pm to 3.30pm, with booking essential.

At this workshop, Bradford Libraries’ Family Learning Services will help families to learn about the importance of playing as a learning and growing tool.

Families can try activities and games and learn how these can support their child’s learning and development. Families will also make props for a special story.

This will be an interactive session for children and their parents or carers. The session is aimed at three to seven-year-olds, but siblings will be welcome.

There will also be craft activities on some mornings.
