A RECRUITMENT evening is being held at Airedale Hospital.

The event is for allied health professionals (AHPs), who provide treatment to help with the rehabilitation of adults and children.

AHPs work alongside doctors and nurses, at the hospital and in the community.

Visitors to the event – in the physio gym, A10, at the hospital next Monday (March 26), from 5.30pm to 8pm – will have the chance to meet senior members of the therapy teams, discuss the career opportunities available and tour clinical areas.

Interviews will be carried out during the evening, allowing some people to leave with conditional job offers.

The event is open to registered, newly-qualified and return-to-practice AHPs in occupational or speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and radiology.

Freya Sledding, therapy services manager at the hospital, said: "The evening is a fabulous opportunity for potential employees from allied health professions to visit Airedale Hospital, meet staff and learn about the variety of services we provide."
