LENT lunches held in Keighley have gone down a treat with the public.
A simple lunch has been served-up each Friday during Lent at the Salvation Army centre.
Teams from different churches across the town have done the cooking and year-ten students from Holy Family School in Keighley have served.
The final session is on Friday (Mar 23).
Organiser, Margaret Ward, said: "The lunches, to raise awareness of – and funds for – Christian Aid, have once again been very successful.
"Keighley Churches Together has been staging this for many years and the students are an integral part of the effort.
"We are always delighted with the attitude of the pupils – and the clients love to meet them and chat."
The lunches are set to raise about £600.
