A VILLAGE school has further strengthened links with its local Co-op store.
Steeton Primary was visited by the manager of the Skipton Road outlet, Majid Mahmood, and a colleague who awarded prizes in an Easter egg colouring competition.
Winners and second and third-placed pupils from across the seven year groups received Easter eggs.
Mr Mahmood praised the standard of entries and said the winning creations would be displayed at the store.
Kevin Wheeler, head of school at Steeton Primary, said: "The village Co-op and Majid in particular are great supporters of the school and provide us with many prizes for various competitions.
"It is great to have such a strong community link."
Last year, Mr Mahmood called at the school to judge contests including Hallowe'en and Children in Need art events and provided prizes for a Christmas tree decoration competition.
