A KEIGHLEY town centre restaurant is on the shortlist for the inaugural Bradford Curry Awards.
Shimla Spice, in South Street, is shortlisted in the Best Restaurant – Judge’s Choice, Best Restaurant – People’s Choice, and Best Takeaway categories.
The awards have been set up to celebrate the best of Bradford and Keighley’s curry restaurants and the industry’s contribution to the district. Seven of the eight categories will be decided by expert judges, who will be visiting the restaurants to pick their favourite.
One category, the Best Restaurant – People’s Choice, will go back out to a public vote which is open until next Thursday. (April 12)
Winners will be revealed at a ceremony at Cedar Court Hotel, West Bowling, on April 17.
