EFFORTS being carried out in Keighley to help people with dementia will be outlined at a meeting.
Maggie Marsden, from Dementia Friendly Keighley, will be the speaker at Lees Methodist Church's Meeting Point.
Anyone is invited to attend the session, at the church on Tuesday, April 24.
Tea and biscuits will be served at 1.45pm and the talk will start at 2pm. There will be a £2 admission charge to cover expenses.
Maurice Baren, for the church, said: "Whilst dementia is something we may all dread, here is an opportunity to learn more about what is happening in the town to help us be supportive of those who suffer from it.
"Also, it's a chance to find out how we can better deal with it if it occurs to someone we know or someone we love."
