A PHOTO competition which invited people to send in pictures of their pets drummed up hundreds of pounds for a Keighley-based cat welfare charity.
The contest was run by the Wet Nose Animal Aid Online Show, which raises money to help smaller animal aid organisations.
Proceeds from the competition, totalling £427, have been donated to Keighley Cat Care.
The charity rescues, looks after and finds loving new homes for unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens. It also promotes cat neutering to cut down on the numbers of neglected, stray cats roaming the district.
A spokesman for the charity said: "We were honoured to be the recipients of the proceeds of the photo competition. Our cheque for £427.50 was brought to us on Sunday April 15.
"Wet Nose Animal Aid Online is supported by several celebrities so we're thrilled as hopefully this will bring us a larger audience.
"Social media is continuing to be an amazing platform for us, as we have Twitter friends from all over the world and they are so generous to us."
"It is kitten season and we now have an abundance of them. All will be looking for homes in the coming weeks.
"We have also been trapping and neutering feral cats in the Bradford area."
