A STALWART Rotarian has been honoured for his service to the organisation.
John Hopkinson, of the Haworth & Worth Valley club, has been presented with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award.
The presentation was made, by district governor Robert Morphet, at the club’s annual charter celebration.
Club president Chris Bown said the award was hugely-deserved recognition of Mr Hopkinson’s continued commitment, to both the club and Rotary International.
She added that Mr Hopkinson and herself were the two remaining Rotarians from the club’s inaugural charter 19 years ago.
