CRAVEN and District League Division Three leaders Skipton CI chased down Oakworth II's score of 182-8 at Wide Lane with five wickets to spare.

The hosts posted a handy 182-8 with Michael Scarborough (46) Bilal Khan (43) and Rob Hopkinson (37no) being the top scorers.

Steve Woods (72) and Ian Burke (25) set Skipton on course with an opening partnership of 103 before Ian Henderson's 31 not out completed the process.

Bingley Congs II were too strong for Bradley at Matthew Lane, with youngster George Bell scoring 50 of the home side’s 124.

He also took 3-30 as the Beckfoot Lane side galloped home by six wickets, with Steve Broughton (46) and Tim Burnley (39no) being the top scorers in the reply.

Brian Freimanis (30 and 3-20) and Will McLaughlin (3-30) were the stars of Crossflatts' five-wicket victory over Barrowford II at Ryshworth Park.

Division Four leaders Silsden were inactive on Saturday when opponents Ingrow II conceded their game and second placed Chatburn II took advantage.

They blasted 225-8 on their travels to Bingley Congs III. Matt Lancaster led the way with 45 as Yvonne Baines took 5-66 and Asher Nutting 3-61. Then Josh Dean (5-6) played a big part in the home side being back in the hut for just 53.

Cononley II made 182-8 in their South Craven derby with Bradley II. Thomas Lloyd led the way with 40 and Thomas Eaglesfield took 3-18. Their opponents won with just three balls to spare. Chris Kimberley making 53 and Danny Smith 45.

Two golden oldies, John Cleaver (62no) and Steve Dalby (34), saw Cowling II to 184-6 up at Denholme. The hosts replied with just 87-9.

Matt Ryder took 5-8 as Glusburn II slumped to an eight-wicket defeat at Skipton CI II.

Wilsden II had too much in the locker as they saw off Oakworth II. The home side went first and made 125 with Subhaan Ahmed scoring 37no as Ben Mitchell claimed 6-28. In the reply, Ben Reynard made 68no.

Another veteran, Jan Haider, made 64 for Long Lee II as William Storr took 5-20 at Gargrave II. In response, Tony Spensley (56) and Neil Plummer (33no) saw the Skipton Road side to the spoils by three wickets.

Tamoor Munir (Foulridge II) smashed 77 to set up a score of 180 at home to Airedale II, who were knocked over for 85 by Irfan Khaliq (4-24) and Abrar Sarwar (4-17).
