AN afternoon tea was staged by Keighley Rotary Club in tribute to unpaid carers.
Thirty-five guests enjoyed sausage rolls, pork pies and homemade scones, buns and cakes during the event, at Keighley Civic Centre, to mark Dementia Awareness Week.
Many of those who attended have dementia or care for someone with the condition.
Entertainment was provided by Haworth Ukulele Group.
There was also a game of bingo, organised by Rotarian Liz Joyce. Amongst those who took part was the town mayor, Councillor Fulzar Ahmed.
Sarah Wademan, of charity Carers' Resource, helped co-ordinate the event.
She said: "We had such a good time. Huge thanks have to go to Keighley Rotary Club for its continuing support of unpaid carers."
