THE festival making the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan will be observed at an event to be staged by Keighley Town Council.
The Eid evening on Tuesday June 19 will comprise free family entertainment, food and drink.
Town Mayor of Keighley Councillor Fulzar Ahmed said: “We have a very diverse community here in Keighley and events like this will help to further build upon the positive links between our vibrant communities.
"We hope communities of all faiths and none will come out and join us for this celebration."
The chairman of the town council’s Events and Leisure Committee, Cllr Kaneez Akthar, added: “Our events planned for 2018/19 will celebrate many local and national themes and it is hoped that the people of Keighley will continue to support our efforts this year."
The Eid gathering will be held in Keighley Town Council's Civic Centre, in North Street, and begins at 7pm.
