AN ambassador for Keighley's Rugby League club delivered an inspirational assembly at a local primary school.
Garry Schofield from Keighley Cougars, accompanied by the team's mascot Freddie Cougar, visited Our Lady of Victories (OLV) Primary.
A spokesman for the visit's organisers said: "Freddie Cougar and the Keighley Cougars Freddie Club are encouraging children to create a winning team in the classroom.
"Assemblies will be taking place across the town over the next few months with Freddie, Mr Schofield and Jonny Storton.
"The Keighley Cougars Freddie Club will be encouraging children to work as a team, to communicate, to be determined, support each other, show co-operation, be enthusiastic and be the best they can be!
"Our team, along with Freddie, went to OLV school on June 8. The school was fantastic and very welcoming and the children were a great audience. We would like to thank OLV for having us.
"The Freddie Club meets on Saturday mornings at Cougar Park, starting at 10.30am and running until 11.30am.
"Children who are aged from reception up to year seven are very welcome to attend."
