Redcar Tarn, Keighley
THE annual general meeting of the Friends of Redcar Tarn group will be staged in Keighley next week.
This event, which all are welcome to attend, will be held in the Good Shepherd Centre, in West Lane, at 7pm on Tuesday June 26.
Among the topics up for discussion are plans by Keighley Town Council to take over management of the tarn from Bradford Council by means of an asset transfer agreement.
The friends are a group of volunteers who work to look after the tarn, its immediate surroundings and the area's wildlife.
