DECLAN Vink are the headliners at the latest Fresh Thursdays music night at the Exchange Arts Centre.

The Keighley venue, on Russell Street, will feature the melody-fuelled acoustic pop band, led by local lad Declan Vink, on Thursday June 28.

Coming up at the venue on Saturday June 30, will be Asomvel supported by Stiletto Farm and Arkham Witch.

A spokesman said: “Asomvel will engulf the entire world in an apocalyptic orgy of volume beyond human imagining; no one who encounters them will ever be the same again.

“Mixing heavy metal style with elements of hard-rock bite, Stiletto Farm are a band who demand to be heard! Arkham Witch provide old-school heavy-metal/doom infused with Lovecraftian horror, tales of mighty barbarians and festering evil superstitions!”

Heady stuff, and worlds away from popular local acoustic singer Roger Davies, who will be performing at the Exchange with his band on July 13.

Roger has been a solo act for some time, performing at countless clubs, venues and festivals around the country. He formed the band last year, and all their concerts to date have sold out.

Foreigners Journey, a tribute band mixing music from American rock bands Foreigner and Journey, will return to the Exchange on July 21.
