A PROFESSIONAL networking group run by a Keighley-based solicitors and a bank has staged an informal breakfast for businesswomen.

Women@Work, which is organised by AWB Charlesworth Solicitors and Natwest, was joined by over 30 businesswomen at Keelham Farm Shop, Skipton.

Among those present was Sandra Corcoran of cycle shop Pennine Cycles, who gave a talk about her award-winning business, her career journey and her top business tips.

Felicity Green, of AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, said: “Our networking events always make space for real stories from women in business.

“This time it was great to hear about Pennine Cycles, which was established over 70 years ago. The shop enjoyed a great reputation when Sandra took the opportunity to buy the business with her husband Paul.

“Today, it still exports expertly made bicycle frames around the world today. Hearing about how Sandra and Paul balance international business with local excellence was inspirational.”
