FORMER members of the now-closed Our Lady of Victories Church had a feast during their reunion this month.

Members of the Roman Catholic church on West Lane, which closed two years ago, held the official reunion at adjacent Our Lady of Victories Primary School.

Organiser Michelle Fink said the school hall was buzzing, with more than 100 people in attendance.

She said: “It which was an opportunity for a catch-up. Many of the parishioners now go to a variety of Holy Masses in the Keighley area and rarely see each other.

“Everyone brought a little food to share, which turned into a feast! Past parish priests popped in to see people and we even had a video message from Kerala in India from one of the priests who served in the Parish a few years ago.

“It was fabulous to see so many people enjoying each other’ is company. It is hoped that we will host another event in the future.”
