A DAY of reduced entry prices will be in force at one of Keighley’s top attractions at the end of this month.

O n Tuesday July 31 anyone aged five and older – under fives can get in for free – who are not National Trust members will be able to visit East Riddlesden Hall for just £2 per person.

This is a saving of over £5 per adult. The normal admission prices can be found at nationaltrust.org.uk/east-riddlesden-hall#Prices

A spokesman for the hall explained: “There are lots of things happening at East Riddlesden Hall over the summer, and we hope that by putting on this special day people will come along and find out more.”

Events at the attraction include a butter making in the barn session from 2pm to 3pm on July 29.

The hall will host traditional gingerbread making demonstrations on six dates between the end of July and early November, with the next three sessions taking place on July 31, August 7 and August 14.

A fun activity for youngsters on August 7, August 11, August 14 and August 18 will be a chance to make their own mini raft using sticks and leaves.

The raft building will be between 1pm and 3pm on all of these dates.

How to create a feast on a camp fire is another outdoor activity at the hall, which will be held on August 21, August 25, August 28 and September 1.
