STEWART Francis will bring his last-ever stand-up comedy show to Bradford and other northern venues.

Into The Punset is the title of the last tour by the star of Mock the Week, Not Going Out, Celebrity Mastermind, Live at the Apollo and Crackerjack.

The tour begins in October this year and will culminate at the Apollo, Hammersmith, in December next year.

A spokesman said Stewart was a previous winner of Dave’s Funniest Joke Of The Fringe.

He said: “The hugely-successful one-liner wizard has become a household name in the UK and Ireland over the last decade, thanks to his ‘perfectly crafted gags’ and expert timing, which he has brought to sell-out audiences across the world.

“Now it’s time to sit back and enjoy, for the last time, his excellent jokes in his farewell tour.”

Stewart has received international acclaim in the US and his native Canada, as well as in the UK and Ireland.

Stewart can be seen at Leeds City Varieties (October 17), Harrogate Theatre (19), York Barbican (20), Burnley Mechanics (25), St. George’s Hall in Bradford (April 13) and Leeds Town Hall (May 24).

There are laughs too in Halifax on October 22 as the Victoria Theatre hosts An Evening of Comedy with the stars of Britain’s Got Talent.

Halifax Comedy Festival will offer 2018 winner Lee Ridley (AKA Lost Voice Guy) and finalist Robert White, along with runner-up Mandy Muden, this year’s finalist Daliso Chaponda, and compere Tony Vino.

Lee Ridley AKA Lost Voice Guy is the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid and he may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say, and his comedy will leave you speechless.
